The PowerHD-100 is the first truly portable digital TV antenna that enables you to receive free off air digital broadcast stations in your area. Receive both high definition (HDTV) and standard definition (SDTV) digital programming using your existing digital TV, analog TV with converter box, or USB/PC TV tuner and laptop computer. It is a unique product in its compactness (6.5 x 2.2 x1.5 inches) and pop up element design. The internal low noise amplifier allows reception of even the weakest broadcast stations. The PowerHD-100 can be powered via batteries, USB power from a PC or laptop, or by AC adapter.
The PowerHD-100 is the only practical portable solution for viewing digital television on your laptop. Current USB tuner sticks do not come with usable antennas as an accessory, so a separate antenna is required to receive the maximum number of stations possible. The PowerHD-100 is the ideal antenna solution for watching TV on travel.
With the mandatory ending of broadcast analog TV on June 12th, 2009, there will be an increasing demand for antennas for home use. The PowerHD -100 is an ideal antenna for your home, as it can also be used with any plasma or LCD flat panel TV with an internal ATSC tuner. It allows free viewing of HDTV 1080i broadcast signals even though you do not subscribe to HD programming via cable or satellite. Hook up the PowerHD-100 to additional TVs in your house to avoid added fees for multiple cable boxes. Everything you need to receive free TV immediately is in the box.
What You Receive: Product and accessories in full retail package. Includes AC/DC adapter, F/F coax cable (hook to your TV/Tuner), USB cable, (2) AA batteries, and User Guide. One year warranty.
Note: *To receive 1080i resolution, you must have an HD television capable of displaying 1080i or 1080p.
